We bought a premium 12-mil solar cover (16′ x 32′) for our Kayak pool
three summers ago. I’m having to throw it out now because the “tops” of
the air chambers (bubbles) have pretty much all come off into the pool
this season. We get sun on the pool about 2/3rd of the day, and the
pool is a low-chlorine model, so I’m not sure what has worn out the
cover so soon. We keep the cover in our garage over the winter.
Is this just typical for a solar cover?
Thanks!
