I have had terible trouble this year opening my pool, that is another
story. During a heat wave a few years ago my pool reached 98F, it was
sickning to get in. To cool it I jerryrigged some PVC fittings to the
inlets and fashioned a spray by melting the ends of the pipe. At night
I sprayed the returning water into the night air, it lowered the temp
10 degrees. I lost some water thru evaporation but that was minor
compared to swimming in warm water.
