BBB routine example

August 1st, 2007 · No Comments

Can someone please post an example of their “routine”? How often do you
find that you typically have to add bleach during the week? I know this
differs depending on several factors, but I would like to get some idea
of how this works. When you add bleach, do you add it to “shock” each
time or just enough to raise a few ppm? That’s where I am getting a bit
confused. I had assumed that bleach disappears in a day.
I have a 21,000 gallon pool, and I am currently using bleach to “shock”
and the tri-chlor tabs in the floater, which is causing it’s own issues
with over-stabilization and low ph. I would like to change to the
bleach method without the tablets, but I’m a bit confused.
Thanks.
