ugh! I have bought my first pool a 24 ft above ground got it in april
this year having a horrible time learning to keep it clear and dang
frogs! Ugh! Any way to keep frogs out of the pool? I got it in april
15,000 gallons and am fixing to fill it again for the 3rd time. We
have been having alot of rain which messes up all the chemicals so i
pour more chemicals in it which now im wondering if it is actualy a
health hazzard to be swimming in alllllll these chemicals ya know
going up inside a woman and kids drinking the water etc??? we got the
little blue test the water urself kit but it dont explain very well.
soooo since reading it on the jug etc isnt as good as having a pool
person right there with you can anyone give me directions in plain
english of what to buy and how much to put in and how often??? so I
can write it down and tack it to the shed wall. hey has anyone had a
snake climb the ladder and get in the pool??? we paid $70.00 for a
pool cover got it home and its a VERY thin tarp and no way to clasp
it to the pool looks like im supposed to put like 50 steaks in the
ground and tie it down? i got it all from pinch a penny. i see why
now ppl say they are aggervating to have i wanted a pool cover to put
on at the end of the day to keep out bugs and hopefully frogs but i
dont think thats gonna work and if it rains its just gonna pull the
cover into the pool. im pulling my hair out over this. $3600.00 would
have bought me alot of better things. Is a hot tub any better???
thanks for any info
frogs! etc

the easiest thing would be to take a water sample to a good pool supply
and post the results here. if you have a little test kit, it probably
only test 3 items, total chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity.
These are tests you would do weekly once you have the pool stabilized.
I can post the directions here for those 3 tests if you need to, they
are very simple.
