heater bypass valve

June 5th, 2007 · No Comments

I would like to have the ability to bypass the heater when not heating
(thus not corroding the pipes, etc.) Wish the pool installer had done
this to begin with. Anyone know if a special bypass valve is made
for this - or do you just build one with 3 cutoff valves in an H
formation (thats what i have on my water softener inside). Does
anyone have a bypass like this. Seems like it could dramatically
lengthen the life of the heater.
thanks in advance for any advice.
