Low Chlorine Readings on Salt System

April 25th, 2007 · No Comments

I have been having trouble keeping chlorine above .5 to 1.0 ppm on a
salt water pool. The rest of the chemistry appears on the mark. The
setting on the generator is at about 100% and run it at least 12 hours
per day.
I live in the south (Louisiana) and the pool gets fairly warm (80 to
90 degrees). Should I increase the stabilizer to over 100 ppm to
compensate?
