Low pressure resolved, bubbles still there…

April 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Hello again. I no longer have a low pressure problem with my DE
filter, but I still have bubbles in the pool on the supply side. The
low pressure was caused by not having the lid tight enough on the
secondary basket/trap between the skimmer and the filter. My question
is a simple one, how much is too many bubbles? Can I live with a
little air leakage? Now, when I bleed off the DE filter there is very
little air, it almost immediately shoots out water… From what I
understand, and I’m new at this, the air is simply working my pump
harder than it should be working, is this correct?
Thanks everyone.
