any suggestion on air in lines

March 20th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Been trying to prime the pump..finally got the prime, inground, with
hayward pump. I got a new gasket for the small fiter at the motor, but
see that it is still sucking air in. Any suggestions? I was using Majic
Lube for the gaskets but it seems to get real sticky, than ends up
stretching out the gaskets and making the top hard to get off. It has
the clear view top on the small filter by the motor. Ever heard of it
warping?

Is this a hayward super2? The lids are always difficult to open. They
are sold with a lid removal tool, and if you are not using it, it is
more difficult. Are you sure it is leaking from the lid?
