To dump or not to dump

February 21st, 2007 · No Comments

I’ve got an inground pool with 60,000 gallons that I have inhereted as
a job for about the last three years. Just had the entire surface
redone with diamond bright last spring so of course it was drained
then. before I was hired, the pool was taken care of by a pool compnay
and was drained EVERY spring, acid washed, and cleaned. . . To me this
seemed to be a little intnese doing it every year. I’ve been peeking
under the cover from time to time this winter and everything seems to
be ok (grant it I still have a big block of ice right now). Just
curious if everyone drains their pools in the spring and cleans it out
or if you just filler up, circulate, vacuum, and enjoy?
In Chicago for anyone that cares.
