Do we have to have a liner?

February 1st, 2007 · No Comments

I am really not knowledgable about inground pools. I am learning
though. So this is probably a silly question but I really need to
know. We moved here two years ago and this year the liner started
splitting/tearing. I had no idea of the cost but can say I cannot
afford to buy a new liner. We have a concrete pool, so can I just take
the liner out and use the pool like that. Maybe in the future I can
save for a liner but do you have to have a liner? I know with the
splits in the liner the water drained out quite a bit, so I imagine if
we did take the liner out, there would probably need to be parts
sealed to prevent leakage….I really hope you can help me, thanks
