pool closing for the year.

January 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Hey group. ATT: Peter
I tried your routine to clear up the green algae in my pool to no
avail. It is still as green as ever. Some days I would see an
improvement and could even see the bottom of the pool last Tue, but then
the next day it would be solid green again.
As our weather here in KS has turned cool already and the kids are
back in school this next week, I think we are just going to close up a
little early this year. I just don’t feel like putting any more $$ in it
for two more weeks of swimming.
I would like to ask if you could explain the low chlorine level when
putting in algaecide. Even my pool store lady said that is wrong. The
instructions on the algaecide says that the chlorine and ph should be
stable and even says your should shock the pool 1 hour before adding the
algaecide. I use Omni brand chemicals.
Have a great day and thanks for the help.

Amelia
