1. Sand pump vs. Cartridge pump: We got a sand pump from my mom for
our Intex 18×14 pool. Th e cartridge pump did not seem to be pumping
the water enough. But the sand pump she had has hoses that are
considerably too small for our pool to switch it over. Has anyone had
this problem?
2. We had a ton of rain recently and while i’ve run the pump and used
the chemicals, it still looks cloudy or milky or whatever. The water
tests okay, though. I don’t know what to do.
3. The cover that I try to keep on all night, and all day if we arent
going to be swimming, seems to be causing more grief than help. Water
lays on top of it, and the thing is heavy enough on its own, without
rain water on top catching leaves and bugs and stuff and that makes it
so heavy that we can’t get it over the blow up ring around the top of
the pool and have to let it just flow into the pool after its been
sitting there for several days. Is there a better way???

Very very frustrated.
