Stupid me, I meant to turn the return line all the way ON, instead it
was all the way OFF. So all of the intakes were on (skimmer, main
drain, pool vac) and everything else was off (waterfall, fountains,
returns), and it was like this for about 16 hrs. We have a 2 HP Jacuzzi
Magnum Force pump, and it is now leaking around the outer ring. Air is
being sucked into the system…it is only 2 yrs old !! I have read
about “seal kits” for pumps, will this fix the problem ? I am so mad at
myself, what a stupid mistake !! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
