Hi Denise,
I responded directly to your email and it bounced back to me.
Hopefully, you will pick up my response from here.
“It took about a week before mine was truly clear as well. I used
a “skimmer sock” in the pump basket and turned the dial to filter.
The pool was slightly cloudy for the first day or two. Change or
rinse out the sock 2-3 times a day and keep doing this until the
sock isn’t brown anymore. You’ll be amazed at how clear your water
gets … absolutely sparkling! Also, I haven’t had to backwash
(although I do use a sock most of the time to stop the bigger
garbage from getting to the filter) or shock the pool for a month!
I keep getting the water tested and there isn’t any combined
chlorine in the water. The filter really does grab it and hold it.
