Here’s my stats: 33,000 Gal, vinyl liner, kidney shaped
Chlorine, Free 1.0 ppm
Chlorine, Total 1.0 ppm
pH Below 6.8 (Neon yellow)
Alkalinity 10.0 ppm
Cyanuric acid 80ppm
I am targeting the free chlorine to 2.0 ppm, the pH to 7.2. I
understand that the alkalinity should be 80-120 ppm and i’m ok on the
Cyan. acid.
So……
to raise alkalinity, add baking soda and to raise pH add soda
ash/sodium carbonate, right? Now, which is recommended to go first?
It seems that the baking soda and soda ash might be on the same side
of the equation. Can you offer some help here?
One more last time ……
