I’m moving my pump/filter for my in-ground pool about 20′ and have a
question.. originally the pipes went down through the patio deck where
the pump was sitting (not bolted down). So the pipes were fixed in
place while the pump, filter, and nature2 container could be moved
freely around.
When I pour a new pad for the equipment should it have the pipes going
through it, or coming up beside it? I’m fairly sure the equipment
needs to be bolted down so it’s not moving around and putting stress
on the pipes, but not sure about running pipes up through the concrete
and making repairs much more difficult.
