Has anyone used this product or have an opinion on it? Suppose to
have algaecide, stain preventives, hard water control mixed in with
the chlorine in the tablet.

Greetings (no name supplied),
This sounds like a convenience item for the lazy or uninformed. In a
perfect world you could add the same ratio of ingredients each time
you work on your pool - which is what this all-in-one tablet does.
But, I find that I use differing amounts (or skip some ingredients
completely) each time I do pool maintenance.
I’d much rather have off-the-shelf competitively priced ingredients
and the freedom to use my own recipe for pool care.
As they say YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary)!
