My water was beautifully clear yesterday, althought the chemistry was way
out of whack after several days of heavy rain. Alkalinity low, pH low,
chlorine low. So I brought the alkalinity back up this weekend, got the pH
up higher (although it was still around 6.8), and shocked the pool late
yesterday afternoon. Today, the chemistry numbers look much better, except
for pH still being 6.8, but the water has turned greenish. Did shocking it
with the pH still a little low do this?
Thanks,
Harry
