I’m in the market to buy a 1 HP pump dual speed. I’m leaning toward
the Pentair Whisperflo dual speed over the Hayward Northstar dual
speed. Does anyone have comments or suggestions on either one of these
pumps? I want a pump that is going to last awhile and that is not so
noisy. Has anyone ran into any problems with the Pentair or the
Hayward? Thank you for all your comments and advices!

The ring around our pool light has lost its chrome and has turned
black. Just wonder how hard this is to replace, and will the pool
need to be drained?
