Pool Chemistry Programs - Computer

February 27th, 2006 · No Comments

Hi everyone,
I’ve been seeing several different programs for maintaining pools
available on the internet. Pool Professor is one that comes to mind.
Have any of you tried these programs? They basically mimic what the
pool store does ….. you enter all your pool data like size and type
of surface, average operating temp, type of sanitizer, etc. and then

Try rubbing a vitamin C tablet on your stain. If this removes your line then
you have Metal stains. To treat your whole pool use Ascorbic Acid which is
basically a powder form of Vitamin C. You can find it at Leslies Pool stores if

Advice on Pool Pumps

February 20th, 2006 · 1 Comment

the Pentair Whisperflo dual speed over the Hayward Northstar dual
speed. Does anyone have comments or suggestions on either one of these
pumps? I want a pump that is going to last awhile and that is not so
noisy. Has anyone ran into any […]

Letro Legend trouble

February 19th, 2006 · No Comments

Our Letro Legend cleaner has just about quit working. It just sits there most
of the time. Sometimes if I shut off both pumps, then cut them back on, it will
run around the pool a little, but too soon it’s just sitting again. Is there
some maintenance I should be doing?
Thanks,
Harry

February 16th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Hello,
I’m new here and probably don’t belong - but here goes. I bought a
pool at Wal-mart yesterday - 18′x48″ - I am currently filling it with
well water. It is turning an orange-ish color - I’m thinking rust.
What do I need to do? My parents had a pool years ago and kept it
clear basically with chlorine […]
