Question on opening

January 1st, 2006 · No Comments

Hi everyone,
I’m a lurker here, and it’s time to delurk with some questions! (0:
1. We are selling our house this spring, and need to get the pool
open asap. We closed it and winterized it (we think!) ourselves this
past winter. We live in Columbus, Ohio, and are not sure when would
be safe to open. We’re shooting for a couple of weeks from now
because we want to get pix of the house and get ready for showings.
Am I right in guessing that we should be safe to open as long as we
keep the pump on if the temp drops below freezing?
2. We have serious issues with our liner “bulging” due to the water
table. It’s happened at all 4 corners rather severely. Is this
fixable, and if so, has anyone had this done to know approximately
what they’ve been charged for such a repair? Is it likely we’d need
a new liner completely?
3. Has anyone sold a house with a pool? Any tips on making it look

extra appealing? (0:
Thanks, and sorry for so many questions!
Lisa
