I’ve got a 40-year-old Anthony pool which I just had re-plastered
and it looks great except for one thing — the old pool light popped
during the remodel and I can’t find a replacement. I know it’s
part#39970002 and it has a dark blue lens and it’s listed at
Anthony/Sylvan Pools for $22 — but when I spoke to them they
said they were “out” of the part and would get back to me but
now THEY WON’T RETURN MY CALLS!! This has been going
on for months. Anybody else have any similar experience with
them or, more to the point, know where I can find that pool light
or a same-sized pool light to fill the hole in the side of my pool?
I’m in Los Angeles. Help?
Thanks!
Where can I find a replacement pool light?

Forget about Anthony they forgot about you years ago. Check out
the web for a group called IPSA (Independent pool & spa Assoc.) a
group of independent (owner operators) in most areas and they can
refer a real professional pool service. There are lots of retro fit
lights manufacturers that make great pool lights. It takes a bit of
knowledge both mechanical & electrical to install but it’s not rocket
science.
