Which filter is right for me?

December 24th, 2005 · No Comments

I would like to know the minimum size filter (in sqare feet) I can
buy in a D.E and also in a cartridge filter. I have a 26,000 gallon
pool.
From the marketing blurb below, its sounds like the cartridge filter
will clarify the water as well as a DE, but what am I losing with the
cartridge filter since it only filters from 10-25 microns?
Looking for top-end filter performance with the lowest maintenance?
Look at a cartridge filter. This long proven design uses special
filter elements to strip particles from pool water with great
effectiveness…particles as small as 10-25 microns in size
(particles smaller than 40 microns cannot be seen by the human eye).
Thanks,
Mike
