pool cover

December 2nd, 2005 · 3 Comments

Time to cover our pool for the winter. Last year the cover did not stay
down very well. We used that tightener and red rope that came with the cover
Any other suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks

Did you fill gallon milk jugs with water and tie them to the cover?

NO THat is a thought. Does it work well?
I’ve never had a problem with the cover. Don’t fill the bottles all the
way, or they will burst when it freezes.

My cover is just a leaf net. We choose to empty our AG pool every spring
so we don’t care how dirty it gets. We just don’t want to dig out gobs
    of leaves

I thought that totally emptying an above ground pool was a total no-no. I
guess if you’ve been doing it, it must be OK.
