tree roots and stumps

November 19th, 2005 · No Comments

Hi,
I am looking to install a used 24′ above ground pool next season.
The best spots in my yard for the pool would involve the removal of a
maple and/or birch tree (I dont like that idea, but I have many, many
trees, and no other usuable spots). I was wondering the best method
for removing the stump and roots. Is grinding ok, or should
everthing be removed (ie with a backhoe)? Also, if I do this now,
would the ground be solid enough for a pool installation in 7 or 8
months?
Thanks!
