Swimming pools blog

I have an 18′ A/G pool and the pump motor is starting to give me trouble. I
realize that I mcan probably just replace the motor but I’m giving serious
consideration to replacing the entire pump/filer assembly. It’s a sand
filter and I’m sure that the whole installation was done on the cheap so I’m
sure that everything is the minimum size to give somewhat adequate service.
What I’d like to do is replace it with something that will give optimal
service on the pool but also be sufficient to handle an upgrade to a bit
larger pool if I decide to do that in the near future. Does anyone have any
suggestions, please. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
