Muddy brown colored water

August 23rd, 2005 · No Comments

After several days of 24/7 pumping, I finally do not have to backwash the filter
every several hours and clean the strainer basket. However, the water is still a
fairly strong brown color. The clarity is only to the 2nd of four steps… about
2 feet.
Unfortunately I’ll be out until Friday, so had to stop the pump in fear of the
filter getting clogged and burnin gout the pump. i dosed the pool with chlorine
granules and algae remover before I turned off the pump. I’ll wire in a timer
next weekend.
I just hope I don’t loose to much ground.
