New member with some questions

Hi my name is Heidi, I just joined this group and I have some
questions. First of all is this group also for people with above
ground pools? We have just become the owners of a used above ground
doughboy pool. I am thrilled but its turning out to be a whole lot
of work. First of all this pool is in somebody elses backyard!!
The pool is about 14′ x 24′ and comes complete with a surrounding
wood deck. We are in the process of dismantling it so we can move
it to our backyard. So far we’ve got the decking taken down. The
pool is about half filled with water so we will need to drain it
before taking it apart. We’ve already been told we will need to
replace the liner after moving it which is fine. Right now, 1/2
filled with water I’ve noticed that the panels that surround the
pool on the outside of the liner seem to bow in-between the
supports. is this because the pool is half empty and has been
unused for over a year? Where would I find a liner that would fit

a doughboy pool? I’ve been looking online but just not sure what to
do. Has anybody had any dealings with an online company called “In
The Swim”? This pool comes with the filter, a gas heater not sure
about a pump or it its built into the filter. The people we are
getting this from no nothing about the pool. (It came with a house
they just bought and they don’t have any use for a pool so they said
we could have it) I could use any suggestions you have to offer!!!
Thanks in Advance,
Heidi in Washington State
