I have a kidney shaped pool, and removing the cover is a pain. Is
there any kind of pool cover remover that would work with a kidney
shaped pool.

Pool Saver covers used to make a cover that was not fully automatic
but was spring driven … you put it on like a night shade then
anchored it down with a little wrench thing … was way harder to get
on but could be made to fit odd size pools and such.
My Ex Bro in law had one… was great as a safety devise as well
