I am going to try to explain what I am looking for though a drawn
picture would be much better.
I am looking to have a completely custom pool put into our backyard.
I want it to be oddshaped, IE kind of like a small pond, I want to
have a waterfall that covers the entrance to a grotto cave, in that
cave I want to be a hot tub. The water from the waterfall needs to
come from a small “hot tub” that isn’t hot, basically a little place
where two people could sit if they wanted to, however it actually
just supplies water to the waterfall AND the water slide that I would
like to add. Nothing too complicated just a simle slide that goes
down the side into the main pool. I would like to go with a boulder
motif for the slide/waterfall area. I would like to have the hot tub
be big enough for say eight people and have a small door that leads
ou through the rock so that we can access the pool room, which has a
small fridge for drinks and things.
On the other side of the pool I would like in inset seat with rocks
al around and a small waterfall there as well. Basically so whoever
sites back there is shaded. I am in Southern California. I have
plenty of land to do this, but just checking to see how much
something like this would cost. I was told at least 50k, but wanted
to see if there was anyone out there that could give me a better
estimate
Thank you,
James

James… One thing I’d like to add…
Take lots of pictures of your property BEFORE any construction
starts. Go to Costco and buy film in bulk, then photograph
EVERYTHING. These will come in handy if have any type of dispute
with your contractor. If he breaks something or whatever, you can
easily pull out a photo to help your case.
Furthermore, I took lots of pictures during the construction
process. It made a nice scrap book to document the whole
experience. This is a very exciting thing, building your own
swimming pool, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy looking at the photos later
on down the road. I do.
