i have a 1 hp STA-RITE pump model P2RA5E-181L. we happened to leave
it on overnight and didn’t notice till the following evening. the
strainer basket was very clogged and the pump was on but not pumping
water. we cleaned it but it wouldn’t work. i opened up the pump and
found the impeller was totally cracked and had broken off. i went to
find the part but i’m having a difficult time figuring out how to
unscrew the motor shaft or whatever you call it so that i can screw
on the impeller. any suggestions?
