Swimming pools blog

Hello,
Our neighbors, who are only here (Florida) 3 or 4 weeks a year, have
purchased an above ground pool. The pool is in the open, no shade at
all. They want to shock it and cover it during the time they are away
and want my husband to look after it. Are there different rules for
shutting down a pool for the summer compared to winter? Any advice
would be appreciated. Thanks also for the advice given on other questions.
