I was manually vacuuming our inground pool yesterday, and I suddenly
lost most of the suction. I turned off the pump and unhooked the
hose from the skimmer hole. When I turned it back on, the pump is
only bringing in a small amount of water. I’m afraid I must have
sucked up something that has clogged the intake line. Any
suggestions? What can I do to clear it?

Any big trees near the pool? There are devices you can place on the end of
your garden hose and use the pressure from the house line to blow the clog out.
I would take the top off of the pump and try and blow it backwards. If that
does not work call your pool pro he/she has high pressure nitrogen that will
blow out almost anything.
