The TA is what will keep you pH steady. The TA is the buffering capacity of
the water or the capacity of the water to absorb acid without changing the pH.
An increase in the TA should bring some increase in the pH as well. Do a
little at a time so you do not overshoot the mark. Leave the pump running the
whole time.
