I can not keep my Hayward DE filter pressure to remain at its optimal
level of 10psi. I let my 24 foot round pool go green (very dark
green)during the winter and now am having alot of trouble getting all
of the algae out. I have been able to get the water blue but not
clear, there is still plenty of algae in the water also.
Presently the system will run great for 10-15 minutes and then the
pressure goes up and my return flow decreases. My pool store has
advised me to run the pump at least 8 hours a day but I can not do
this if I need to bump every 10 minutes. NEED HELP!!!
