the polaris 380 is a p.o..s that polaris has been trying to get rid
of for years, hence the rebate. The unknown little brother the
polaris 280 is a much superior product and came out after thee 380.
The jet vac is a pressure sided ckener fron LETRO and it does use a

above ground pool install…
February 23rd, 2004 · No Comments
There are many types of above ground pools and all have some degree of
difficulty. The biggest single thing you can do to insure a good
installation has nothing to do with the pool itself. Site prep…making sure
the site is LEVEL and SMOOTH meaning free of rocks, roots and anything else
that will poke a hole in your […]

Hey you are wrong! You bought a 1 year old pool with a house attached!
Solar is a good method to heat your pool but be aware it is not for everyone.

Pool Heater Gas Line Diameter?
February 15th, 2004 · 2 Comments
Eventual question below will be about the diameter of the gas line
required to run the pool heater (180 to 200 foot run). Live in NJ.
Local Pool store sized a 350000BTU heater for my pool. Wanted to
have it installed, but, up to me to get a plumber to run the gas line.
(Pool […]

Need info on solar heating, please
February 14th, 2004 · 1 Comment
We have a 15′ x 24′ above ground pool built into a large deck. Since
the deck keeps most of the “above ground” area of the pool in
constant shade, we are considering purchasing a solar panel to extend
the season, even though we live in East Texas. The pump is 2 HP. Is
this sufficient to pump to […]

Why does pH change over time?
February 12th, 2004 · 1 Comment
Just curious really, my water tends towards acidy. This was obviously a true
in the past judging by the number of bottles of pH-plus the previous owner
had lying around.
