Treating water

July 20th, 2003 · No Comments

What type of shock did she use? If it was cal hypo then it takes along time
ot disolve but not that long so she must have put in alot. By canister type
I think you mean a cartridge type which is good so just keep running the pump
and clean the filter. As far as taking care of the ph problem have you had
your water tested for total alkalinity or TA? If it is high then changing
you ph will be hard but if it is low then maintaining correct ph will be hard
because the TA buffers the ph or trys to keep it steady. As far as the type
of shock to use try sodium dichlor granuals they disolve faster than cal hypo
and will not make the pool cloudy.
