Thank you. I thoroughly enjoy this group and hate to see it get off the
    subject of pools.
Question for all. I use chlorine and am looking for an inexpensive site
to buy on line. Can you help?
Also, is tablet chlorine better than granular? I personally like
granular and I have managed to keep my chlorine levels stable by adding
any where from 1 tablespoon to 1 cup at a time. But I would like info on
the most effective and least expensive means to chlorinate my pool.
Which by the way is a 24′ round above ground.

So do I but some people are going to ruin it for the remainder of us.
For your above ground pool it would be safer to use the granular and not the
tablets due to the fact that the tablet if it sits on the liner for any
lenght of time it could damage it. The correct granular to use is sodium
dichlor and not cal hypo. Tablets would be a little cheaper but you would
still need a shock so why not use the same product for both. I think it
would be hard to beat the prices at the local Target or Wal Mart because
chlorine is a highly hazardous chemical and shipping in small quantities may
be difficult or expensive so buying on line may not be the best course.
