Pinholes in Liner

You said you had algae. What type of shock did you use to treat it? If you
used calciumhypochlorite ( I think I spelled that correctly) it settled to
the bottom and bleached your liner. You should use sodiumdichlor for your
vinyl liner pool yes it has a lower available chlorine but it will not damage
your pool. Chlorine tablets will do the same thing if left on the bottom.
Sodiumhypochlorite is safer yet but has very low chlorine content.

Sodium Dichlor is available in granular form and can be used as regular
chlorination or as shock or both. It is a stabilized product.
