Black vinyl liner

February 25th, 2003 · 2 Comments

Has anyone ever seen a black vinyl liner in an in
ground pool? I got a sample of the liner; it looks like
an inner tube. I wonder if it would look weird next
to light gray coping stones. I love the natural pond
look of black gunite pools but this sample looked
awfully severe. Comments?

I’ve seen several, most notably though black
liners are used for ponds out of FDA approved material.
What I dont’ care for with black liners are the way
they age… eventually they develop a milky white sort
of appearance atop the black and look horrible IMO.

I’ve never seen a pool constructed using a black liner, I agree that sort of
material seems to be intended for pond use. <br
it for a swimming pool myself.
