My 4 month old pool decking has patches of dark
grey. The concrete contractor says it’s traped
moisture. I find this hard to believe. They poured using
two trucks. 1st truck area no patches, 2nd truck lots
of patches. Anyone have experience with trapped
moisture in pool decking?

IF…the color differential strictly follows the
2 different truck deliveries, sounds more like 2
trucks from 2 different batch plants or at least mixed
differently. If you’re still talking to your builder, check
the delivery tickets against each other for
admixtures, etc. Bear in mind, however, that color levelling
may take a year!
