I’m getting a pool put in as we speak, (non-diving, vinyl lined) and although I
paid for well points in the contract, the builder instead put a “french drain”
in. Am I being ripped off?

Since Florida is typically flat, I’m not certain
how a french drain would be configured to function.
Go to www.NSPI.org/chapter_vii.html to find the
National Spa and Pool Institute chapter in your
area…talk with them (be nice now) and ask them for their
problem resolution person. They should give you a pretty
straight opinion. Peter
