closing the pool, what a chore

February 17th, 2003 · 2 Comments

Is there an easy way to close a 24 above ground
pool? It took 2 days to put the cover on that pool,
remove the filter and put it in the boiler room , warm
and cozy for the winter months. It is almost
impossible to vacuum that pool with out being in the pool
and it was too cold to get into it to vacuum it
properly. There are many green patches on the bottom even
after I vacuumed as much as I could on waste. The water
is not green just some of the bottom. I am now
hoping the water won’t be green when we open it in
June.<br
pool person to open and close the pool, opening the
pool is no easy task either.<br
only person I have to help me is my husband and all he
does is bitch and moan about having to help, he

expects me to be able to do it all my self and resents
that he has to help. If there was a way to do it my
self I would sure be a much happier person. This pool
is much more work then I ever expected.

I think it is probably easier to close an
inground pool then an above ground pool. If I had the
money I would have an indoor pool and never close it
    but back to reality… <br
    pool.
