Thanks for your posts. One horsepower will be a
little under power for 110000 litres, you could try it
but may need something a bit bigger. Whether you’ll
get away with it will depend on the bather load and
the amount of debris that ends up in the pool. If it
proves inadequate the water will end up cloudy due to
insufficient filtration.<br

manufacturer. Some pumps are constructed with metal parts that
will corrode or support a chemical reaction that will
deposit or remove metals from parts. This also applies to
rubber seals and the impellor.<br

I have a regular sand filter and a pump. Our electric bills here run very
high and at night I have been turning off the pump for a rest.
Can anyone see any probelms doing this?

And doesn’t it run “cooler” at night, thus utilizing
less electricity, making it slightly cheaper?
